Allow us to see ban appeals and to add comments to them like we used to do on the enjin site.
Maybe not be the most useful suggestion so far, but ban appeals were the last place where toxicity could've been found and always were a cool part of ccnet, wheter to agree with something or to disagree or even to make a little joke under them. Thanks for the time.
Guys you two are talking while not knowing what I'm talking about. Before this site, ban apoeals, like staff EiO and things were hosted on enjin, that site allowed others not only to read them but also to comment them. After this introduction I'll repeat what I've just said: people used to talk and do jokes under those appeals, we used to joke, not to make fun of. Appeals, since only a small part of the community was active there, had a really small amount of toxicity and, as it was there, public appeals here won't be a gateway for toxicity, just bring back what used to be a good way to pass time
Reading appeals is not something that will influence staff judgement. Moreover more than once I've found incorrect appeals where the player said fale, or partially fale, things just to be unbanned, being able to catch such things before the unban happens would decrease time that staffers have to use to punish rulebreakers and avoid a little of toxicity in the server.
"Commenting on ban appeals is not something that will influence staff judgement. Also commenting on ban appeals might influence staff judgement." It will be one or the other, and if staff do actually use incriminating comments on appeals to judge ban appeals then that opens up the ability for people to make false claims in the comments on a ban appeal, and if staff would believe false claims in the appeal itself, who's to say they wouldn't believe false claims in comments on ban appeals either for or against the appealer. Sounds like a useless thing that could only bring bad to the appeal system for the sake of a few people getting to laugh at them and throw jokes at people's requests to become unbanned
I will add that making a public suggestion brings more attention to the fact that you'd be able to view and post comments on the appeals which would likely turn into the people who wish to leave toxic comments on appeals to doing so
Il this part is tricky ("Commenting on ban appeals is not something that will influence staff judgement. Also commenting on ban appeals might influence staff judgement."), but what I meant is that staff judgement won't change based on emotivity, but only based on facts that could be added under the appeal. Obviusly making a public sughestion will increase the attention that ban appeals will receive, but this site can also completely block those who come only to spread toxicity (thing that with enjin was not possible)
