Despite the fact that this is a self serving suggestion for both me and Ijust, it is a little off that a resource needed in bulk for war is limited to certain parts of the world. This would be fine if people were incentivised enough to ship sugar cane, as this would stimulate an economy, but this just does not happen.

Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it hasn't happened. And probably the biggest reason people shipping sugarcane is rare is because guess what, people shipping stuff is rare in general. Minus movecraft vehicles primarily because those cannot be traded over the ah. However I remember that transactions with large ammounts of sugarcane were fairly common back before the introduction of the ah.

ijustcall, u didnt provide a good and convincing argument. Many people sell sugar cane, even I do or have to some extent. I love the idea of world building and I think sugar cane should stay in Jungle/River/Beach.
