Please make sure you report these instances the moment they happen! That's the best way for staff to be made aware of issues with homophobia and racism. I'm in support of increasing the ban length, but we'll see how other staff feel ^^

What a joke of a suggestion,most of the people that are labelled as "racist" towards your "arabic" part are people refering to the Nation itself(Egypt) ingame same way 3/4 server used to refer to Brits and Nords as different for the first months of unification

Like in the case of old humik ban who got banned for racism which was a misunderstandment towards the ingame nation and not the IRL place

The n word is not inherently evil, so is any other word, lets get that clear. The n word derives from the Mexican word "Negro." Directly translated, it means the color black. So, when a person says the "n word." they are just saying black in Spanish.

Can we please not bring cancel culture into CCNET? If you guys do that, I have a feeling you all will lose a lot of your playerbase, not because of the "n word," but because no one wants to deal with cancel culture in block game.

The current ban hierarchy for racism and racist comments is already quite strict.

After that 3 day ban comes a 2 week ban with a strike, and if repeated furthermore a 2 month ban with a strike. A fourth repetition is a permanent ban with a third strike, unappealable.

The 3 day ban is intended to disrupt the players experience significantly enough that they understand that racist behavior and language will not be tolerated in our community, something that has so far been enough that I don't believe any 2week or 2month bans have had to happen.

For now, increasing the baseline punishment is not necessary.

I will also add that the n-word and any other language that has history of being derogatory towards an ethnicity or race will be considered racist when we're moderating.

What a dumb suggestion @Rattlyy, smh. A 3 day ban for the n-word is already harsh. That's enough to miss out on an entire siege. If anything, I'd say there should be a warning or mute before the 3 day ban, but that's just my own opinion.

As for your idiotic allegations, I never called SPQR the n word or said anything racist to SPQR. You bring up that some SPQR members are Arab, but then how is the n word offensive to them? Makes no sense. The one time I said the n -word (it was actually not the word itself but similar to it) was accidentally in general chat. I had meant to send in party chat and it was directed as a joke at my friend who team killed me on accident. Still I know I shouldn't have said it regardless, but how is that targeting any SPQR members? I recall you reported me and got me banned for 3 days because you thought I called torque the n-word, which I clearly didn't and was literally common knowledge that it was not directed at torque. What a dumbass you are xD
