Person the tax is $1/day if you're talking about upkeep for the entire town by the server. If you are talking about the tax your mayor set please talk to your mayor.

Gav7 this is a towny suggestion. Piggy is talking about daily upkeep each town has to pay (6 per plot atm)

And I agree with Piggy. 6 per plot is too much, and is an unreachable amount for most new players. But it is also a problem for most long term players, towny is supposed to be a server where we make big and creative towns, not one where everybody is trying to claim as little as possiable to keep the upkeep low and affordable.

I think it should be reduced to 3 or even less.

yeah lower upkeep OR reintroduced the T1 concept where in no more tax but player need to stay active just to keep the town alive.

Personally I dont think staying active to keep the town alive is a good idea as obv we all have lives (and the term staying active is pretty vague in itself) but yea js reducing taxes can help alot of players, esp the new ones.
