I agree, It's useless to have faster furnaces if the hoppers are slow

Hopper speed dosen't effect game speed... I mean there is technichly a substitute in slime fun but only in towny not nations called cargo node. Basicly hoppers for slimefun machines. I understand why they are blocked since auto dust fasrms are op therefore I suggest a carbonado edged furnace as there is only 1 needed for a carbon furnace. To stop people from making mass lag it could be made highly expensive like a level 3 android (pain to craft).

Cargo on towny is alright considering how many players are on at once (RIP towny my beloved) + Some very cool optimisations (bless)

Hoppers en-mass can have quite an impact on the server, despite the hopper limit in place a faster hopper than went... lets say 1.5 vanilla speed would inevitably result in the same problem the limit/rate limit is trying to prevent

Don't get me wrong, i want faster hoppers so items out of my carb-furnace dont build up, its just that no matter the cost multiple chunks will be filled with them and that can have an impact

What about applying the chest next to the SF furnace to get the items like in other SF machines?

problem with linking chests to furnaces is that it does not fix the issue of getting items into the furnace fast enough for carbonado furnace to be useful in farms. otherwise i would be all for it.

In the case faster hoppers aren't viable (idk) maybe make an input and output machine like in androids (fuel and interface) for the furnaces or directly an android made with a carbonado that has that function.

Yes like a slimefun machine that transfers items from one container to another and functions like a fast hopper and is made with carbonado. This should also be made fast to match the speed of carbonado furnaces

Yes but only with furnace or otherwise people will make auto silver and dust farms
