Basically I don't think there is point in making it so u can't use boats on land.

By BOAT I didn't met movecraft also apart from iceboat travel nothing its just cool to make it in tunnels.

it was more then likely disabled due to people using it to glitch up walls at sieges

Land boats are disabled because of their absurd interaction with ice.

Boats are boats, not cars. Boats go in water.
