imo with the proper setup fuel farming takes little to no effort, the same cannot be said for compressed charcoal blocks, even with a tree farm it takes almost triple the time to use a molten axe to get compressed charcoal compared to the sitting and waiting around that is fuel buckets.

fuel is stupidly easy to get and the energy costs to turn oil to fuel are also super low not to mention that you can sit afk and farm a stack of fuel while a charcoal farm requires actual work. its like saying buff silver

Getting compressed charcoal is easier than getting fuel. also, the energy cost to survey chunks, then mine oil, and then refine it is a considerable amount of energy. antennae burn energy whether they are being used or not. so, we have to account for antennae energy consumption when not in use.

tbh i like the old buffed fuel buckets even selling them was profiting in the past

1 compressed block of charcoal is roughly 2 trees, not including the logs that you can also smelt down into charcoal. Fuel should be rebuffed I agree.

2 tress is like 5 seconds btw, refining one bucket of fuel takes longer much much longer should you count all the other hoops you have to jump through just to get the fuel. It's just not worth it.

Fuel should give more energy than any resource just because it's limited, the regeneration is slow to very slow and can't be crafted.
