ok ive been doing pretty dumb stuff on the move craft server and realized that missiles are way too slow and their maneuverability is totally impossible irl. So heres my proposal:

-Make missiles faster, like at least make them faster than the dam plane

-Reduce maneuverability of missiles, so here the long explaining part. Missiles would only lock onto a craft if they are close enough. having this means the missile is constantly on running lock-on command and will lock onto a craft is its close enough. If they miss the target they wont latch on like before but they will continue going and will get out of lock-on range then explode. This makes it totally more realistic.
This will also make planes have to use more skills to dodge and launch missiles instead of just running around at max speed firing at random directions.

-More powerful missiles, like at least enough to 1 shot a plane since its harder to land a hit.

-Launching missile cooldown reduced, make it possible for the user to launch missiles once every 3 seconds. (make it so the /ammo inv only gives 1 missile at a time to prevent full auto firing missiles)

-Flares, oh I swear to the lord how annoying it is to fire missiles and it auto shoots flares making you loose that flare and have to wait for cooldown making you totally vulnerable to missiles.

-Make Flares shoot like ifv cannons (hear me out), instead of making flares shoot burst make them shoot one per time like how Ifv do, the thing is the flare launcher only have 20 rounds and cant be auto reloaded so it either have to be hand reloaded.

-AND FOR THE SAKE OF GOD INCREASE THE RANGE FOR MISSILES MAKE THEM GO AS FAR AS 14 INCH CANNONS OR SMT

- little red warning message in chat if a missiles comes 70 blocks close to you

-Missile types:
> Air-Air: more damage to aircrafts (wool, slabs, lamps, little damage to concrete, no damage to terracotta)
> Air-Surface: more damage to armored targets (concrete, terracotta (as much damage as a 4inch shell or smt))

If added to nations (somehow cuz every dev ignores my post by now)
Make the missiles and flares more expensive
