I think this suggestion should be disabled for voting on losing-in-every-siege side. All-time vassals will obviously won't support this suggestion

Vassalizing a nation is not just occupation but better.

It provides the victors with better spoils, yes. But it also increases the risk factor as the vassal needs to be monitored (and permissions controlled)

Stick to occupying them if you can't toggle perms fast enough.

rick, u arent experienced in siege wars, u may know couple things but not enough to prove to me, that vassalizing enemies should stay as it is, its like invading village in old times but giving them access to your armory/weapons, legit.

there are enemy vassalized people checking alliance forts now, how is this balanced? and if we remove vassalization, occupation gets removed aswell.

adding a separate perm level for a vassalized nation might be a bit too hard to implement (since we don't code towny)

The method to work around general ally perms is to just ./lock your entrance (since many players don't use their locks anyways)

the problem with locking entrances is that most places with perms have building perms on As well, anyone can just break into a fortress and replace the blocks and nobody would ever know. It makes sense to keep things how it already is if you apply it to real life terms but for CCnet terms it really needs a tweak. Subjugating enemies is a massive part to ccnet and should have its own set of rules separate from volunteered vassals

10th time this suggestion happens when someone wins a siage from basically the same person, 10th time I downvote.
I personally think vassalising shouldnt be a all gain no loss thing for the occupiers. Its essentialy more spoils and less enemies (unless they migrate for siages) on the cost of ally chat and ally perms. Micromanaging perms aint hard, just get mayors to /t trust add people. Its not so hard

imo vassalizing *should* just be a method of bringing two nations together (through violent means) The best example I can give is the vassalisation of japan where not only were they not taxed the max amount but they were actually looked after by their overlord both materially and monetarily

Just ask for an occupation buff if you don't like the idea of two nations sharing info
