i am not a psychic, myself and most of my staff are full time students, when exactly do i or anyone else have time to go through and monitor every single map on the dynamic map?

do you have an automated system in mind that doesn't have holes?

Anyhow, if people cba to make the tickets, how can we be expected to invest the effort into both finding and dealing with them while keeping it all in our head (within the 1 hour lunch break we get)

its not very hard to look at maps, it takes like 5 mins to look at the forts and determine whether or not they are breaking rules

you also could get more staff that would be willing to do check maps and report it to you

Most of our current staff EOIs come from extremely competitive players who have either privately or implied heavily that their interest solely lies in gaining access to the Staff Chat and gameplay discussion. We can't simply "get more helpers" unless you want to experience real bias and abuse.

Let me give you a breakdown of my average week. I have classes every day until around 4pm with labs three times a week that keep me until around 6-7 pm, several extracurriculars I'm involved with including hosting a University funded club, and volunteering in my local community. I'm still considered one of the most active staff members, yet I can only log on a few times a week if I'm lucky. Considering all of the work I already do, try to imagine how much our other staff has, the ones who don't log on as frequently. Ineusia practically works four jobs, we have staff who work full time to pay for their bills and student loans, and we have some staff who have families and children to take care of.

So, no, we don't have time every day to stare at the map and jump on an issue the moment it comes up. I don't spend my entire day wondering if Vestfold is breaking a rule or not, I spend my day dealing with IRL obligations like the rest of our staff. Just because some players have the time to spend 6-7 hours online every single day doesn't mean all of our staff have the same luxury. We're not robots. Behind the screen, we are all humans with our own individual lives.

If you are too lazy to make a ticket, then that's fine, but don't be surprised if we can't read your mind and tend to your issue within 0.05 seconds of you thinking about something. We rely on tickets to understand ingame issues because, unlike some of our players, we can't just sit online for 8 hours a day. Our community is our greatest help in identifying issues.
