multiblocks that are built into movecraft designs that do different things. Advantages: adds more optimization and tactics opportunities, adds realism, extends possible designs, improves uses of different movecraft and adds more risk for reward. Disadvantages: hard to implement, game changing feature meaning everyone will have to redesign, separates the poor and less "movecraft knowledged" people from the experienced and rich and requires a brain to use features correctly so anyone who just stuck 20 randoms in dreadnoughts and telling them to go shoot won't work and instead acual planning and organising needed. Skip to conclusion if u don't wanna read my ideas. Zaify or anyone else who has influence on the movecraft of this server please read all of it and give my idea a chance.

BASIC IDEA:
The idea is that multiblock features are added to movecraft. My first idea is that u acually have to make engine's as a multiblock. And however damaged the engine was would effect the speed of which the craft would travel. Not only would this mean that the designer would have to careful balance armouring the cannons, ratio blocks and engine meaning a new wave of designs would emerge with different tactics and techniques.
I feel like these feature would be useful because rn (mainly water) movecraft is only good depending on the placement of all the blocks and external and internal features of a boat are becoming less relevant. It's all about who amouredtheir cannons and redstone the most, and who can destroy the enemy's cannons first, and so on. This would add new tactics to the table and add a new wave of movecraft designs (last time u did a big movecraft update the player count and activity increased massively so a game changing update is needed to furthermore extend the player base).
OTHER IDEAS:
My next set of ideas where smaller and less appreciated ideas that I will only say to help u get an understanding of my idea.
1. Turret motors: a multiblock needed in the center of a turret (to replace the subcraft rotate sign) that would be required to rotate the turret. This would make turret designs more technical.
2. Turret (or just one for the entire boat) computer systems: this would be a multiblock that would either go in every turret or just one in the entire boat. This would have to be build for the user to be allowed to aim and fire automatically using a clock. The benefits are the same as the previous ideas.
3. Radar multiblock: different movecraft would have access to different radar and each version of radar would be a different multiblock design. This would allow for /contacts to work. This would be only needed once on a movecraft and I would recommend the use of amethyst as a base block for this design (it makes sense due to irl radars using crystals and also gives a good use for amethyst).
4. Control panel: a multiblock that would be primarily for combat land and water movecraft which allows the user to see information as boss bars and gui's (Movecraft Hull %, compass, cannon status, etc).
5. Guidance systems: this one would need to be expensive as well as limited to a few crafts (I suggest cruisers, corvettes and destroyers). This one will be hard to code (I think, I only did an estimate of how to do it in my head so I may be wrong) but could open lots of tactics to the table. You would be able to input coordinates into a command with a colour u want it to be and a name, such as /guidancesystem
6. Radio systems: this would work along side the guidance systems and would allow for orders to be transmitted to all crafts at once. The orders could pop up on the players screens and would be used to give orders to individuals or to the pilots as a whole. You could order a pilot to go target someone or tell everyone to go back to port etc. This would help players that can't vc or speak to be a part of the commanding team as well as making sure orders came through even with yelling in the vc. Also if u wanted to u could make it so anyone receiving guidance system waypoints would require this to be built.
7. Countermeasure system: specifically for destroyers (or any another craft that may be added/updated). Would be used instead of Countermeasure sign and u could use a remote tool to activate it.
8. Alert system: would alert the pilots of incoming fire of any sort by a alarm sound as well as an flashing alert section in the gui. It could also have different versions for different crafts, and for the more advanced crafts (dreadnought, aircraft carriers and battleships) could be given the information of the type of incoming fire and the direction as well as a bigger alert range. the alert of an incoming torpedo could look like" !ALERT! INCOMING FIRE" for the basic version. And the advanced version having "Type: torpedo Direction: West" added underneath. This would be a great advantage but obviously at the risk of making the multiblock (which should be expensive) as well as needing to divert amour to protect it.
FINAL SUM UP:
ik this would have to be a very big update and ik u don't have alot of time to code things (directed towards zaify) because of university. I get that cause I'm spending all of my free time studying for a levels now. But I also know that u are planning of doing a big movecraft update in summer, and I also know that u want something that will change movecraft dramatically. I'm not suggesting u add this idea word for word of how I described it, I'm just trying to give u an idea I created that I personally think would make movecraft better and increase the playerbase and total playtime because of the new movecraft designs that will be needed. This would balance movecraft and require acual thinking and planning behind building a combat craft. If you where to implement this or something similar, I would suggest u add lots of different options and not only a few. This is so that the designer has to pick what things they are willing to sacrifice such as heavy turret amour but very little guidance and computer systems or lots of guidance and computer systems but less amour elsewhere. This would rely heavily on the fact that the features would stop working the second the multiblock was damaged or broken (just like irl). Meaning the designer would have to focus on armouring the internal systems as well as cannons and redstone. I also know that u want battleships to be special and not just a bigger dreadnought, so this would increase the advantages and uses of it. These features would also increase the creativity, planning and tactics needed behind any combat fight as well as a new wave of boat designs needed to be created. But not just one design for an entire nation. Each nation could have a different design for a different purpose, such as an amoured but "dumb" (little technological help) dreadnought very similar to the current ones that are designed for close naval combat where organisation and tactics don't mean that much. But also have a dreadnought designed for hunting, so it would be less amoured but "smart". And could use its technology to take down indervidual boats through tactics and intelligence. It means that no two movecraft will be the same and no same movecraft can be used for different situations. If u want me to design some of these multiblocks or demonstrate how they may be laid out and used on different crafts then just ask and I can come online and build them in just over a week. If u are gonna use this idea or a part of it, I require no credit given and u can simply use it and modify it as much as u want without my permission. I don't want credit from staff to abuse so I can gain more power (like previous developers, I won't name names). I just wanted to share an idea. Also if anyone else has any other ideas for multiblocks and their uses feel free to share them on this ticket as well as any suggestions/ opinions u have about mine.
