Lets be honest,Corvettes are the worst combat ship that isnt made out of wood.They are just destroyers,but worse:They dont have terracota,they have less torpedoes and only 4 4 inch guns(unlike the destroyer's 6).Therefore,there is no reason to create them or invest anything in them.
Now,my suggestion is not to remove them from the game ,but its to give them a unique ability.Something that makes them worth to invest in .Something that makes them actually usefull against other classes.For example,let the corvette pilot use a reconnaissance drone in order to scout the enemy fleet from afar,or make them have a new type of cannon that can assist in defeating a greater ship.
Whatever this change may be,i feel like the corvettes do need it since they are extremely useless and might aswell be removed in this state.
