Yes, you can edit everything on mcmmo , even disable the taming level at all., and also disabling abilities.

Wolves are extremely useless in combat, all it takes is one shot from a gun and they are dead. Having them in sieges would be even worse, they just all die from one cannon shell. And many wolves can lower the performance of sieges.

Aschually, if Taming skill abilities are left in unchanged Wolves would be more than useful in combat due to the skills surviving both above mentioned ways of killing.
