It should depend on the severity of the ban because every player gets banned atleast once. Though yeah I think bans that are 2 weeks + should remove the perk forever

Im not necessarily saying you should care, but CCNet having long queues is a rather new thing and a lot of old players have played the server because it was sizeable and without queues and if the summer queues get even longer those players will simply get replaced by newer ones that love queues!

Its been rather uncommon lately for imports to join a server and all get paid donator by someone or pay donator for each other to the point that donators went from 2-4 people on tab to the whole first row of tab and more common rank than voyagers and explorers. Even though Old Player Priority Queue would be a secondary prio queue for obvious reasons as donators deserve it more to have a priority queue stating otherwise would be delusional I still think that new non donator players shouldnt be clogging up queue for older players in such a massive scale. A novice will log in build 1 dirt hut and maybe play for few hours and quit on the other hand you'll fight on a siege, grind or do other stuff.

CCNet has gotten a like 200% extension of the player base in a short time and if it keeps going with this pace it would reach queue lengths of 100+ soon and honestly with 100+ queues being a standard I would just quit if I had to wait through all of it and a lot of people I know would obviously dislike very long queues and potentially if not most likely would quit aswell as waiting an hour to just play a video game is plain terrible.

Also being able to lose it like Rick said is a very cool idea to encourage less bans and less toxic behaviour.

Its essentialy a win win situation,
Active estabilished playerbase doesnt get too disadvantaged and people from that group get more hesitant to be toxic or break rules. It wouldnt be just for ancient players, but I think people from 2022 should get it aswell to be more fair even though some of us played from 2019 2020 etc n2 players deserve it aswell considering most n1 ppl have quit

honestly the ban restriction should also apply to donators seeing how many there are now
