This QOL suggestion stems directly from player frustration with movecraft theft.
Nearly all players are aware of the 2 ways to lock a craft, a piston and a pilot sign.
Most experienced movecrafters use both, while some opt for just one.
This is where the issue arises.
Staff only support ONE locking method, which is the piston and while this is communicated in rule 5.1 - Ship piracy most players either forget or ignore this and continue to use only pilot signs to lock their vessels.
While pilot signs do work for the most part, they can sometimes be a bit temperamental and such inconsistences
Anyhow, now the context is laid bare, my suggestion is to send a prompt to the user both after piloting and releasing a craft to relock their craft with a piston.
This would hopefully help ease player frustration (New players would benefit from this greatly)
I hope this suggestion is received fondly by the community, as I don't see a reason for it not to be included
