Yeah true this is annoying

Snow layers are a really nice decor block that can be used on zeppelins, it'd be a real shame to see that go. If you live in a snowy biome, just build some infrastructure such as a hangar and store the zeppelin in there :D

if you can obtain them, then just remove the 1 tall layer from merging which would allow you to use every other layer. That should solve both issues

Wither i have never seen someone used snow layers to decorate zeppelins and if you want to paste your zeppelins with snow layers, you can't because shipyard doesn't copy and paste snow layers

I dont but i can understand it being annoying, but if people want to use snow layers they should be able to use 2 stacked layers and above. Snow falling can only apply first layer so as long as that isnt merger it should be fine

No, snow layers are so amazing for building zeppelins the amount of times I have personally have used snow it just adds so much detail and I have seen others aswell. I can see it being annoying but that’s one of the negatives of living in a snowy biome if you are finding it annoying add infrastructure to prevent snow from merging.

The problem is snow keeps falling on airfields its extremely time consuming to remove it. And to add shroomlights make it look horrid, with snow still falling at some places

I agree with lord (and wither to a certain extent). The main problem I find is that large swarths of land for storing planes is entirely made useless by slowly sticking to the planes, and even without so, snow is a chore to remove already when its going to come back quickly.

On Wither's perspective on storing plane, I do agree to a certain extent that people need to build infrastructure to store planes rather than keep them mid-air, ESPECIALLY when they don't look like zeps but rather planes. What could be done about this is to enforce some rule/plugin only to allow planes to park when below some y level (yes, I see the flaws, especially in mountainous areas).

Coming back to the topic, I will repeat to the same point again to add some snow-clearing devices/movecraft, for example, a heater (from slime fun) that u can place below the surface of the airfield or ground. I never saw snow gather on top of a zep so I assume that it doesn't happen, but if it does, add something not to allow snow to fall on certain blks.

You know what slimefun heaters could be the idea or something along the lines of that, as it will keep the area and runway clear and will also keep the decorative side of the zeppelin.

Technically you can also just place non full blocks on the top layer of the zeppelin like slabs which prevent snow from falling on it but regardless i dont think there should be any major issues if only 1 snow layer doesnt merge with craft but the remaining layers (player placed) do. It would just create a bigger difference in going from flat to 2 layered snow but wouldnt be that bad
