For all that I know outposts are disabled and snake claiming is not allowed, which is a bit annoying to towns in island-ful??? areas that want to keep the map relatively clean and don't want to claim lines between islands. What I suggest is to allow snake claiming areas (and unclaim the snakes after) to a certain extent. Of course this wouldn't apply to intercontinental claims or anything like that. Just small areas.... let's say 200-300 blocks apart.
