Strongholds are basically a NPC towns across different continents, they are uniquely designed forts (by admins, they are pre designed cant be changed by players), which needs to be conquered by nations via regular siege which last only for a day.
Upon conquering you get high class towny resources commodities like oil, iron, diamonds, etc, which can be determined in which place the stronghold is situated and you will get it on a daily basis and also you will get good amount of money also.
After the a nation wins basically the NPC town will join the nation giving access of the fort to the winners, ofc there will be time for the previous nation to remove stuff.
I think there should be a stronghold in every continent (except Australia i believe its too small, we can have one for both Antarctica and Australia), Asia can have 2.
The sieges can start on Tuesday/ Wednesday.
I think this doesn't need much coding, just slight modification in existing town plugin. (i might be wrong here)
Optional:
- we can have like you get money per kill or smthg, the money will be detected from the balance of died player (removing keep inv is still a bad idea)
- 1 hr session breaks or maybe even less
- Multiplier: its basically if you hold a stronghold for 2 weeks in a row or more your rewards like resources and money multiplies (ofc there will be a cap for how many times it can multiply)
- 3 way attack, multiple nations can fight for 1 stronghold, they can kill each other.
