Yeah that is right. A lot of players want nations 3 to happen, even newer players that have joined relatively recently compared to the nations 2 timeline.

The nations 2 map is filled with towns on every single coastline and good locations in general have towns, dead or alive, town holders or not, they just exist and fill the map.

The only places not fully settled are the North American interior (not coast), African and Asian interior (though lete be honest both continents have little to no space for new nations to pop up. From what Ive seen and heard the n3 map of it ever happens would be 50% larger than our current map, making small continents like Europe or isles like Japan more feasible for settlement and allow less cramping and overfilling.

Even then if a new nation pops up it has an unexistant chance of making it to "relevancy" even more so if the new nation consists of new people. A reset can give a set of random players more chances to pop off and new stuff going on for older players like me.

The mechanics of nations 2 have been grindy in general, where grinding for every fort for half of the entire server's playerbase is the bare minimum to survive a siege that is invested to by the attackers aswell. The amount of grind CCNet has to maintain nations, especially large ones even leads to people spending significant portions of their life force on a block game server, chugging down excessive amounts of caffeine so they can stay online past midnight to grind for their block game nation (i wont give names but its not only 1 person that ive heard). On top of straight up being unhealthy in general as some people have no limits, this sort of grind makes people that have limits be outcompeted lmao. A reset could allow more drastic changes in grinding and gameplay in general, Id prefer CCNet becoming more casual.

The geopolitics are dull, its been 2 sides hate each other forever ever since 2021. Hurr durr I hate Nords hurr durr I love Nords (lasted 2 years) now replace Nords with Sahara and you have 2023! A reset doesnt guarantee this will change, but its the best way to end this and have an interesting beggining atleast, also the older players returning would make the server and community a better place till they leave anyway.

I've personally not been feeling this server for over a year now as it feels its very late into it and I've done pretty much everything a player can do and the stale geopol combined with severe grind and my favourite locations being overfilled have lead to me wanting a n3 for a while now. The most fun I've ever had is 2021. Compared to 2021 and some portion of 2022 Ive not really done anything of such scale in say 2022-2023 or had the same scale of fun from playing the server. Rn for example I have 0 reasons to log in and I bet many people are in this situation.

This is just my opinion everyone has their opinion over sth like this Id really love a n3 so I can do more stuff in a more casual way

Konstantin its very easy for new players to get decent stuff, for example i joined in august of 2023 and lead a decently sized nation

I don't see why players want "bigger map" no matter how big the map is as long as people can just create towns basically for free it wont matter at all, there is always going to be lots of towns all around and in reality towns simply are not going to exist unless something is done specifically to fix this issue and untill it IS fixed. I personally wish N3 was released just because as it is right now i don't have any more will to play the server as it is and the only ways i see it improve are impossible because things can't just be changed over night without everything being compromised.

The losers and winners of N2 have, for the most part, been figured out. N3 might not be so bad

A if you make it bigger make movecraft faster but also n3 has not had any work done on it yet and Zaify wants urban combat and stuff like that

Raptor I agree a bit with ur mind but we rlly need a bigger map also urban pvp with bigger map will bring better battles of movecraft.

This is very easily debunked by sieges on obscure and remote locations such as Greenlandic ice spikes or the Amazon rainforest thay have had people from all over the ccnet earth fight there. Travel is not an issue, I in the East Coast of America can go to Europe in like 3 minutes with a fast ship. This means that Europe and Africa are closer to me than the West Coast or Alaska in speed distance.

Also @Nuxyr the map is an issue, CCNet Europe only got filled up in mid 2022 and 2023 when people started holding towns alive with townholders for infrastructure and merging up nations. The LAST concern of Europe is newbies spamming towns there, as newbies dont do that in Europe but rather Africa or America because Europe is a removed option. Because Europe and Africa are pretty much the centre of the earth and a lot of people are eurocentric these places will always have the most activity.

Summer 2022 America had more activity than say Europe in terms of sieges because the people of the time figured that sieges are pointless grind and refused to siege each other for a while and asia has been a dead continent throughout ccnet, the russo japanese war being like the last and one of the only conflicts keeping the place alive, it has never been the most active.
