before I begin, ill give u some small words for intruduction.
we all know shields on server, they are used by individuals and groups, what i mean is, when players outnumber one "side", they bring alot of people with shields, that way dying in crowd is near to impossible since u got eachothers back + infinite shield.
I also know that staff just isnt interested in suggestions about stuff that was just added. but this is different case.
zaify decided to nerf shields due to so many complaints. and i support it with my heart.
soo.. i suggest to nerf shields even harder.
hear my reasonings:
there are 2 type of shield users on ccnet.
number 1 are assassins, aka people who run around alone, and just use shield so well, they can beat anyone in 1v1s with it.
number 2 are people who run with groups only. aka at least 4-10 people. they will lose 1v1s with real shield users, or anyone else.
zaify nerfing shields is very good decision, but he nerfed them wrongly. he added 0.6 second CD to shield after you left click with sword/axe.
do you know who u are nerfing by doing that zaify? number 1 category of shield spammers, aka assassins. u are nerfing person who is in disadvantage of numbers. u basically nerfed individuals who use shield not GROUP of shield users.
however, i will tell u how to fix that. instead of adding 0.6s CD after a swing, add 5 second CD. why? so people in groups, after they swing, they can not just spam shield to survive you, no, it will be MUCH harder to abuse shields as group.
individuals still get nerfed, but at the same time groups.
0.6 second will not effect on group of people zaify, just one. u think someone will quickdrop cause they couldnt block for 0.6 seconds?
