Ok with that,
We have replaced the incentive to get kills and the incentive to use differents strategies and implement more stuff. So I want to suggest we lower kill points to a point where banner capping becomes the most important thing.
Inspired by TF2, I think capping should be a shorter process say the banner is capped as a team rather than individuals, now the team on the banner has to cap for 5 minutes which requires having more players on the Banner than the opposition at any one time. If you end up not capping the banner, when you recap in the same session you would only have to recap the remainder of the original 5 minutes. However If you get the banner (and thereby gain points) and then lose it thereafter - the timer will reset to 5 minutes.
Result:
- Banner remains the most important element.
- its dynamic and allows more strategy in when to capture
- It pushes both sides to be on the banner at the same time.
Deaths would do less or no points and just make it easier to build resolution, with Keep inv having more deaths isn't a bad thing and its more fun as the focus is on banner control allowing noobs to show up and have fun too without point feeding, of course dying a lot will give the enemy resolution but it can be countered.
