as of right now the tax when something is bought on /ah goes to nowhere, to make this feature benefit the economy make it so the nation that the seller is in gets the money. Basically lets say a sword cost 500, the markup from tax is 20 which makes it 520 on /ah. When someone buys it they pay 520, 500 to the seller, and 20 goes into nation bank of the seller. If the seller is nationless, the money goes into the nation where the item was put up on /ah.

This is called a money sink - it drains money from the economy causing a need for more money to enter the economy via players farming gold or silver.

We aren't going to remove money sinks without adding new ones.
