So after talking with Plant11 and coming to a compromise, we both concluded that the best way for small cannons to be used on turrets for historically accurate early-1800s warships is to replace the black wool with Polished Blackstone I have yet to see anyone use it on any crafts very much and I think it'd look even better and more metallic than black wool. This change would also mean that Polished Blackstone would be added to the turret blocks list.

Another possibility would be to use black stone slabs since there already on the turret list and it looks the same. (plus there already on the block list for cogs caravels etc)
