I think christmas lights would be a fun idea for the season, my proposal includes 2 different types of lights that could be crafted using the sf magic workbench

Type 1
Christmas Light
Craftable by a peice of glowstone in the bottom center above it a color dye (it would be like wool recipes with different dyes making different wool colors) the type would give off light levels similar to a soulstone torch (ideally it would be a playerhead (that looks like a christmas light bulb) which emits light)

Type 2
Christmas Tree Star
Craftable by placing a Christmas Tree Light in the center of the magic workbench and glass on the top, bottom, left and right
This one would only have one color
And emit a light level similar to glowstone (it would ideally be a playerhead that emits light)
