With the addition of the nether border there is very little loot left in the nether. This means anyone new joining the server doesn't get a chance to go nether raiding and get the custom skinned gear. I'm proposing nether resets every 1 or 2 months as I remember going through the nether a month after the latest reset and having a very hard time finding anything inside the border.

So first things first, last reset was 4-5 months ago

We could live with looted nether for 2 years before that

Second thing: it breaks economy. By resetting the nether, staff basically print money(gold, expensive tools, etc), and that causes inflation.

Regular resets would break the economy entirely.

I agree, it would be cool, but it can't be happening

While it is true that resetting the nether creates new gold so does silver farming so i don't see to much of an issue with that.

As for expensive tools those are not going to break the economy just reduce the price of said tools

Gold is more critical than u see.

Gold = $9
Silver = $4.5

It is double. And while silver farming is slow, takes energy, which is another resource that can be valued in money (like if u buy fuel), gold in nether, especially with the incendium structures, is very common, in block formats. Like after reset, i collected a full (single)chest of gold in 2-3 days.

So this will break the economy
