You should also keep in mind that wood have tons of variants while concrete can be only concrete, so a lower restriction to make decent ships is mire than fair.

Tecnically, there are more variants of concrete than wood due to colorization. However, wood do have more uses and differenciation in terms of type of blocks (stair, slab, fence, etc...).

Also, regarding your comment of "mire than fair", I believe that it would indeed help due to the higher freedom given to the builder.

I wouldn't increase any of the concrete requirements. I will say I like the idea, but don't increase any of the other requirements

for 1-2 crafts, lowering the redstone requirement would be fine and nice (bombers and landing craft,) otherwise all these changes are unneeded and/or will change balancing for crafts, as with, for example, aircraft, the very high and restrictive requirements for wool and redstone are on purpose to both make the crafts quite weak and somewhat expensive in redstone. Somewhat of a restriction is not only good for balancing but exercises your building skills and creativity with blocks. For a few crafts in particular it would be more fitting to give them a *size increase* instead of a material requirement decrease, mostly for fighters/bombers and corvettes/tanks/trucks, which at the very small sizes given are difficult to give detail while also juggling the tight block restrictions.
also, as was mentioned above, wooden blocks have many many variants that last i remember all contribute towards the wood requirement (7 or so variants for each of the 6 wood types) while concrete only has it's 12 color variants, as well as wooden ships are restricted to majority weak, flammable blocks to keep them from being armored/strengthened (same story for aircraft)

The primarily reason why I increased the concrete requirements for some crafts is due to the fact that said crafts have ridiculously low restrictions compared to some that I pointed out.

The aircraft was left untouched and doesn't use wool so I don't honestly know what you mean by it. Also, in terms of piloted crafts, all blocks have standard durability and hardness except Concrete, Terracota, Tinted Glass and any blocks that belong to a funcional Cannon. Increasing the size of the craft would still restrict in a similar way the building act as it only allow the builder to make it bigger. Even though at small sizes, it's indeed hard to define "good" percentages, allowing less restrictions will give an higher advantage for diversity.

Regarding crafts that automaticily require wood, reducing their percentage in said material won't affect their defense as no stone-like materials are allowed in it.

first of all, the increase in concrete restrictions isn't something i care one way or the other about, though their requirements are low due to the fact that they are not combat vehicles and are at a small scale requiring concrete, which is very restrictive for detailing, once again due to the fact that concrete does not have block variants past colors.

second of all, by aircraft, i do not mean aircraft carriers, but the crafts that fly in the air, being fighters, bombers and zeppelins. they are designed to be quite weak and as such are limited to using high amounts of wool to make them quite flammable. my point of having their size raised is to allow better proportions for craft designs, seeing as a cockpit can only be so small as to fit a player inside, and at the current size, the max block count does not allow for very proportional or nice looking planes, as well as the fact that since there is a high restriction you cannot use nearly as many partial blocks for fine detailing.

lastly, there are stairs and other various decorative blocks, as well as nether wood, that serve as armoring for wooden ships, and while maybe not that strong, still allow for fireproof shells to entirely cover the ships

All the crafts mentioned have either an combat role on sieges or a direct support role on said (with the exception of wooden crafts and the Cargo Ship).

Both Wood and Wool are highly flamable. Reducing the restriction could indeed allow some more protection but not that much as it's only 5% if I recall.

With the exception of Nether Wood which is restricted in said type of crafts, the mentioned blocks are normally flamable. And this only happens if we believe that the player will only have Incendiary Shells instead of Normal Shells for example.
