The new Diplomacy point system only makes it harder and harder for new nations to get started with the current points set up it makes already powerful nations only more powerful by the fact of limited siege regions and the fact they are always controlled by the strongest nations. And makes new nations more susceptible to being obliterated their first day because of lack of alliances and makes it harder for them. Seeing it takes 15 to attend a siege it makes it less likely for their allies to want to help them i suggest making it either easier to attend allied defensive sieges or increase the starting points or the rewards for Population milestones. If you think its not valid ok sorry for wasting your time.

I do think DP points being affected by regions kinda undermines the point a little. If the period goes under a period of dominance by one side it will make it even harder for the other sides to try and comeback.

I think there should be an infamy system for sieging new nations as it would be pretty frowned on irl and most map games have similar mechanisms.

There really needs to be a system that allows smaller nations to undergo an extended period of diplomatic bliss. Not every new nation will start with 10 dedicated grinders and an army of pvpers. It may take a few months to properly set up shop. Of course this would be undone should said nation begin aggression.

Before some idiot reacts.
No nations shouldn't exist if they have like 3 players but simulationsly many nations exist with more but just having a lot of people does not mean they will play to the extent of others given that they also have to get passed quite a steep learning curve and lack of machines.
