To devs: I know making all of this and doing the modelling and texturing would be hard, but please please please could you guys at least think about it? Its a good feature and if you think its too op you could always nerf it
To lazy people: scroll down and read “Overall”
Adds newer abilities and things to guns. Does not remove a lot of current features. Adds on them instead. Adds new trade thingys to economy and slimefun. Adds jamming, breaking, upgrading, custom scopes, custom ammo, custom magazines to guns.
Step 1: give guns a chance to jam and refuse to reload. (Around 10% for rifle and ~7.5% for machinegun) Add the ability to “Punch” the magazine to fix it (immobolises player for ~2-3 seconds for rifle and carbine, ~3-5 seconds for machinegun)
Step 2: add the ability to use different woods on guns and make what wood it was made with in its lore. (Maybe make custom models for it)
Step 3: add a slimefun multiblock called “arms table”
Step 4: add Tier 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 to guns.
Step 5: make guns upgradable and customizable in the arms table using resources (make them very expensive like tier 5 maybe costing netherite ingot and reinforced plate)
GUN TIERS:
Tier 1: Normal gun right out of /guns
Tier 2: Normal gun with reduced jam and reload break chance (5%) and capability to use Tier 1 custom ammo and below(see below)
Tier 3: Normal gun unable to jam and break and has capability to use Tier 1 custom ammo and below, able to have customizable Tier 1 scope (see below) for rifles and +3 ammo for rifles and carbine, and +5 ammo for machinegun (requires Tier 2 magazine)
Tier 4: Gun unable to jam and break with +2 HEARTS(not hp) dmg for rifles , +1 HEARTS damage for carbine and +0.5 HEARTS damage for machineguns and able to use Tier 2 Custom ammo and below, able to have customizable tier 2 scope and below and +4 ammo for rifles and carbine, +8 ammo for machinegun (requires tier 3 magazine)
Tier 5: Gun unable to jam and break with +3 HEARTS (not hp) dmg for rifles, +2 HEARTS damage for carbine and +1.5 HEARTS damage for machineguns. Able to use tier 3 custom ammo and below, has +5 ammo for rifles and carbine and +10 ammo for machineguns (requires tier 4 magazine) and can have customizable tier 3 scope and below.
NOTES: HIGH TIER GUNS ARE COMPATABILE WITH LOWER TIER AMMO, MAGAZINES AND SCOPES BUT WILL NOT HAVE HIGHER TIER EFFECTS (still deals damage of its tier and can use ammo of its tier on a lower tier magazine or put lower tier ammo on its tier magazine etc etc but if it uses lower tier magazine it wont have its tier ammo increase and instead will use ammo increase of the tier the magazine is. USE YOUR BRAIN! THE AMMO INCREASE OF HIGH TIER GUNS COME FROM THEIR HIGH TIER MAGAZINE! HIGH TIER DAMAGE INCREASES ARE FROM THE HIGH TIER GUN ITSELF. BULLETS ARE BULLETS LOWER TIER BULLETS CAN FIT ON HIGHER TIER MAGAZINE OF SAME AMMO)
CUSTOM AMMO:
Tier 0: Normal ammo right out of /ammo
Tier 1: Aerodynamic Bullet(faster speed, less drag), Aerodynamic Shell (Aerodynamic bullet but for tankmauser gun thingy) Crafting recipie notes: probably requires aluminium or plastic sheets or a large amount of carbon
Tier 2: Trail Bullet (creates a small particle trail on its trajectory and has less drag, if it hits a player it effects them with glowing and 3 secs of blinding and burning), Trail Shell (Trail Bullet but for tankmauser, no player effect but allows burning within a 5x5 area of where the bullet hit on the craft, also sets fire on the craft), Anti personell ammo T1 (deals +10% damage on armour and +1 HEARTS (or 2 hp) extra damage on person hit)
Crafting notes: Trail probably requires aluminium dust, sulfur dust and thermite, anti personell requires thermite and gunpowder
Tier 3: AP Bullet (only for rifle, makes rifles tankmauser but half the penetration chance, Man Loaded AP Shell (Better tankmauser bullet, doubles penetration chance, the “Man Loaded” is to difference it from Cannon AP shells), Anti Personell ammo T2 (deals +20% damage on armour and +1.5 HEARTS (or 3 hp) extra damage on person hit, also deals 5 seconds of suppresion), Uranium Bullet (VERY SPECIAL BULLET, REQUIRES 5 DP FOR ONE SIDE TO BRING IT INTO SIEGE, OR ELSE URANIUM BULLETS CANNOT BE FIRED. DEALS 5 SECONDS OF SLIMEFUN RADIATION. EFFECTS SLOWNESS I ON ITS HOLDER.) (to explain, to use uranium bullet in siege, your side has to pay 5 diplomatic points to use it infinitely in the siege, or else the bullet would not fire.) URANIUM SHELL (Uranium bullet but for tankmauser, deals explosive damage whereever it hits, regardless of craft or not, effects radiation to all people within a 5x5 area of where the shel hit, if the nation had paid 5DP for uranium bullet then uranium shell can be used too, its just 5DP to use everything uranium)
Crafting notes: AP Bullet and man loaded AP shell: similar recipie to cannon AP shells. Anti personell: large amount of bronze, brass gunpowder and thermite. Uranium Bullet and shell: uranium. What else would you put in a uranium bullet other than uranium?
Why 5DP for uranium: theres something called the United Nations

SCOPES:
Tier 1: 2x scope, 3x scope (for craftting might require glass and plastic sheets)
Tier 2: 4x scope, 6x scope (lets add some wither proof glass and synthetic diamonds, why not)
Tier 3: 8x scope, optical scope: able to adjust from 3x to 8x zoom via shift key, also gives u a “Lead” which helps u calculate how much far from a person do you need to fire to hit that person by the persons current moving speed and your distance to him including your gun, bullet drag and ping issues, because its very op, make it very expensive, how about some netherite ingots, power crystals, batteries and reinforced plates with witherproof glass?
Magazines:
This is the part where we remove some original features.
Currently, rifles and carbines ammo is bullets. No magazine (machinegun and pistols have mags) . This addition requires us to craft magazines for rifles and carbines and load its respective ammo inside and then attach the mag onto the gun. For the sake of developers, im making it so that magazines can fit any type of ammo. For machineguns, machinegun ammo magazines are removed. Empty machinegun magazines are added so you now need to fill in your ammo manually. Im not going to touch pistols.
Tier 1 magazine: Normal magazine. 3 steel ingots in a vertical line in arms table
Tier 2 magazine: +3 ammo for rifles and carbine, +5 ammo for macineguns. 2 steel ingots and 1 hard metal vertically (hard metal on top) in arms table.
Tier 3 Magazine: +4 ammo for rifles and carbine, +8 ammo machineguns. 2 hard metal and 1 reinforced plate (reinforced plate on top) in arms table.
Tier 4 Magazine: +5 ammo for rifles and carbine, +10 ammo for machineguns. 1 netherite ingot, 1 hard metal and 1 reinforced plate (netherite on bottom, reinforced on top) in arms table.
Machinegun magazine is 2 magazines of same tier put together in arms table into 1 machinegun magazine of the 2 rifle magazines tier. Machinegun magazines have same effect of the same tier rifle magazine.
GUN PARTS, CRAFTING RECIPIES, GUN DURABILITY, QOL AND SPECIAL FEATURES
This area is mainly for gun parts wich are used to upgrade guns to a higher tier
1. Strong magazine: 2 hard metal, 1 steel plate in arms table.
2. Sand paper: 64 sandstone in heated pressure chamber to 1 sand paper. Sand paper has durability
3. Tier 2 gun: combine tier 1 gun, strong magazine and sand paper in arms table. Sand paper will lose 50% durability
4. Ignition pin: 1 piston, 1 reinforced ingot, 1 iron block in arms table.
5. Better barrel: 3 hard metal horizontally in arms table.
6. Gunrest: 5 plastic sheets in a L shape in arms table.
7. Tier 3 gun: combine tier 2 gun with ignition pin, better barrel and gunrest in arms table.
8. Enhanced gun barrel: 2 hard metal and 1 reinforced plate horizantally in arms table
9. Better gun body: 5 reinforced ingots in a 凹 shape in arms table,
10. Scope bar: 3 steel plates and horizontally in arms table.
11. Tier 4 gun: combine tier 3 gun with enhanced gun barrel, better gun body and scope bar in arms table.
12. Reinforced gun body: better gun body surrounded with reinforced plates in arms table
13. Silencer: 2x2 reinforced plates in arms table
14. Longer barrel: 2 better barrels and 1 netherite ingot horizontally in arms table
15. Tier 5 gun: combine tier 4 gun with reinforced gun body, silencer and longer barrel in arms table
16. Sand and Waterproof gun body: surround reinforced gun body with plastic sheets in arm table
17. Spear Gun: combine Tier 4 gun with waterproof gun body and silencer. Able to fire underwater. Deals 1.5x damage while undewater
18. Gun durability:
Guns have 1 durability removed when they fire 1 bullet, if a guns durability reaches 0 it will turn into a “broken gun” similar to a broken elytra, and it has to be repaired with 8 steel plates to be repaired
Tier 1 gun durability: 50 durability
Tier 2 gun durability: 100 durability
Tier 3 gun: 150 durability
Tier 4 gun: 200 durability
Tier 5 gun: 300 durability
19. Water and climates effect to guns:
In real life, guns can be damaged by sand, water and hard hitting, so we should make it if the player has the gun in his hotbar and is underwater, the gun takes durability damage (10 durability/min) and make it if the player falls from a area ~10 blocks with the gun in hotbar, the gun takes durability damage also (5 durability/10 blocks) and also, if the player is in a arid, hot or cold/chilly climate(see custom crop growth), the gun takes durability damage (5 durability/hour). In real life, guns cannot really fire underwater, so there is the spear gun (see No.17), it fires tridents underwater (best thing we have right now) which deals 3 hearts of damage. The trident comes back to the spear gun after it hit something or has gone 40 blocks away of the shooter. The spear gun only has 1 trident and cannot fire while one trident is fired.
20. Automatic arms crafter.
QOL sf machine. Auto crafter but a arms table. Similar stats to auto enhanced crafting table i guess.
21. “Damage” Definition
All “damage” meant in this game means damage to a person in full diamond protection IV armour. HEART refers to a whole heart symbol in the minecraft game. HP refers to HALF A HEART symbol in the minecraft game. 1 HEART = 2 HP
22. Gun lore
Under gun, it writes what wood the gun is made from, its tier and its attachments (scope, magazine, ammo)
NERFING:
Heres the best part: lets not make guns too op.
step 1: GIVE GUNS SLOWNESS
Tier 1: no slowness
Tier 2: no slowness
Tier 3: slowness I
Tier 4: slowness I
Tier 5: slowness I
(I don’t know really any slowness over I would be a little game affecting and theres no slowness 0.5 or slowness 1.5 :/ )
Step 2: GIVE GUNS COOLDOWN!
Currently when u switch to a gun u cannot fire the gun for a few seconds, its that.
Tier 1 gun: normal cool down
Tier 2 gun: normal cool down
T3 gun: normal cooldown + 0.5 seconds
T4 gun: normal cooldown +1 seconds
T5 gun: normal cooldown +1.5 seconds

To people who think guns are OP enough:
I put nerfs on them and the crafting recipies are expensive enough. Why no. Its just to be realistic.
I think this would be a good feature and update and would bring more fun, trade and realism to the game. (Would encourage more slimefun trade due to highly expensive guns)
