Well, dp points are annoying tbh, i dont think the "fun" factor has been taken into account here, because sieges are peak fun thing you can do in ccnet, restricting people from do that is well just not a good idea some might even stop playing ccnet.

My point is at the end of the day people come to play games to have some good time have some fun. And DP points is restricting some people from attending sieges.

Well the point where a strong coalition crushing a nation (ROME) was the time when DP points where introduced but that wouldnt have happened forever. There was no need to introduce a game mechanic to influence server politics. Now you see ROME has grown into an massive nation.

Instead of stabilizing, this has grown into an advantage for alliance which has very few nations so there is no hassle for dp points for them. A big strong Nation (ROME) is using this to their advantage as they can start few sieges the entire coalition will be divided so they can divide and conquer, the strength of the coalition is not a single nation, its just a lot of nations being together, and DP points is just outright coalition nerf and its bit unfair.

(AND WHY THE HELL DO YOU NEED POINTS TO MAKE FRIENDS WTF !!!!!)

Your both wrong the implementation of dp is to stop the whole server from being in two mega Alliences and it makes smaller alliences between smaller nations because small nations will fight each other while big nations don’t want to waste dp on small nations

Raptor well it seems none of them have happened, big nations are attacked small nations, and also server is still in 2 alliances, one alliance is buffed other is well nerfed

You pick and chose where to fight and you must be mistaken because I’ve only seen big nations attack big nations

It forces more strategic fighting

You remove the freedom of people making multiple nations and force them to stack up in less nations. Its cool and all that yall think each nation is equal or something and that smaller sieges are more fun but thats not the reality of it. They may be fun for a short time but then you get boring gameplay for the rest of the siege, not to mention some random guy can mess it all up

The only reason to why people didnt merge yet is cause everyone is already somewhat devoted to their current nation, they can bypass it in few ways and the fact that few nations stopped exidting due to quitting/merge

And no there is no strategy change that happened since it got added, it just made it more stupid to play

A max participant limit to sieged would make more sense than max nation amount. Ideally shaving off a bit from the top on how many people should be located on a single siege and forcing people to do two or three larger sieges at the same time rather than sieges that have action for only 10 minutes per session

I was the leader of a small nation in south africa for a time, when Siberium attacked the week before they added dp, so when we decided to revolt we had little to no help in getting free due to the fact that we couldn't ally or vassal to big nations because they needed their dp and raptor this proves that big nations do attack the small defenseless nations.
