There are way too many people who would need punishing for this to be effective. Plus, it gives staff a lot of work to moderate who talks and who doesn't when they can just have a simple timer to stop spam.

1 7-day timeout for each offender who doesn't stop after a warning is good enough speaking on a long-term basis

The issue with that is again, staff workload. Plus, a 30-second cooldown also means that if a person who was being obnoxious before has a genuine question, it can get answered instead of being muted. Kills two birds with one stone.

How about if players are allowed to create threads? that way problems unique or require discussion can be pocketed without flooding the channel.

(in these threads there would be no cooldown)

Ashes you're the same individual who earlier suggested for "ticketing craft designs" which would have probably required 5-6 times the load as this would, I don't see the problem here since I already pointed out how easily this can be dealt with

"If an obnoxious person was.." this is highly irrelevant to this topic, normally every obnoxious individual being so has been muted, and doesn't mean it just disables them from asking for help (they can ingame and go other players)
