I think a greatly needed addition would be Napalm and some form of nuclear weapons, I understand though that this would cause utter distruction and would create map defacement on a large scale without some way to deal with it, so I came up with an idea to fix the flaws with these ideas and improve siege areas in general, I think that a good way to solve it is to rollback the wildernesses chunks in a siege zone to pre siege state after a siege instead of only rolling back the besieged towns, and to only allow these weapon types to work in a siege zone, I think a potential for the recipe for the nuclear bomb may be a bomb in the bottom middle, then on both sides lead ingots, and 2 blistering ingots on the top of the middle column. And napalm could be a flint and steel surrounded by slime then to make a napalm bomb would be in the very middle a piece of napalm, and then on the bottom middle gunpowder, surrounded by steel ingots. Its just an idea i think it would be good recipes to make them kinda realistic and to make them less common because of their expensiveness, perhaps if the rollback idea might cause too much lag perhaps only rolling back the chunks rendered or where blocks were destroyed. The napalm bomb would set things on fire in the same radius as a normal bomber bomb, and the nuclear bomb would explode blocks and leave radiation (poison or withering effect) in a radius maybe 20-50 blocks (nukes should only be able to be used on bombers with 500-600 blocks). Again this is just an idea but i think it would be nice and would add another use for uranium.
