as far as i'm aware, smooth basalt isn't a naturally occuring block in the overworld so it couldn't just be piloted as a shipyard and cause lag to the server like something like stone or grass blocks. smooth basalt is an awesome block to use for roads and floors and it would be good if it were printable. you could also allow it on landingcraft and aircraft carriers but not trucks/fighters and bombers, which would create a really cool alternative floor to some of the boring current options.

No we’re not having a smooth stone moment here the same thing happened when contt segfested it and it ruined many dedicated shipyards

Isn't smooth basalt in shipyards? I printed a build yesterday with smooth basalt in it...

Please no, it's one of the only blocks that doesn't merge with elevators and shipyards that looks good on black/deepslate style builds, you don't need to print highways, you can just use road printers

road printers make the ugliest highways ever they're all just basalt. highways right now are already some of the least attractive things on the server in my opinion- most people dont even bother to make them look halfway decent and im trying to change that in south america.
