so... you want trucks with weapons to have higher render range... so that it can shoot at other trucks that cant see it..

bruh? I saying opposite thing - right now field gun trucks has extended range, that should be removed but left for only AA trucks (that doing damage only for fighters(that has same extended render distance))

I'd say trucks with field guns and extended range is pretty balanced, as they're usually one-shot and can play a part as tank-destroyers.

Trucks have one shot cannon, but they not going to sink after that +insane speed +firing out of range for tanks = they are impossible to sink

Their updated speed and more armor (glazed terracotta) already made them better, and now they got longer range than tanks for field gun tactic - its too OP

And that's what light tanks are for; taking out tank destroyers.

Normal tanks has 8 blocks per second, while trucks has 14 (to back too btw) and still better range. Youre lucky if you hitted invisible truck that firing on you and that moving almost chunk per second

My point of other suggestion about making same range for trucks and aircrafts were based on sahara region fight, where all AA trucks got nuked by autocannon squadrons, that we werent able to see, because fighters had better range and dominated on trucks

Same will happen with Field trucks and tanks

So instead of nerfing trucks, why not increase render distance of light tanks so that they also have better scouting capabilities?

1. Better Rendering for trucks needed only because they werent able to sink fighters, Heavy tank vs truck with same render distance was winable even before gear adding - with gear they became even faster and easier to dodge
2. Heavy tanks will become useless, because every military ground craft will able to sink it without being visible for heavy (that will bring up question about making same render distance for heavies too lol)

also decreasing the range of field guns to be on par with heavy tank cannons would be a solution

all cannons has same range as their crafts render range rn, so it will cause confusion and inconvenience
