While it is intended to go for both Towny and Nations, the latter is the most frequented, so to there it goes.
Well, the idea would be the following:
- There would be a sort of "Active Rune Enchantment"-esque property called "Carburized": It would effectively add +0.5 of damage and +1 breaking speed to all tools with it (Putting it just between iron and diamond in both damage and harvesting speed) and reduce the chance of the tool from taking damage to 80% (32% in the case of armor), effectively working as a baseline Unbreaking IV that can stack with actual Unbreaking.
- This is supposed to be EXCLUSIVE TO IRON/STEEL GEAR. This includes Chainmail. This would effectively make Iron gear have close to ~1000 durability points.
- To apply it, you would require a Pressurized Heat Chamber (Or another machine or device that might simulate the cementation process), the required unenchanted, full durability tool and carbon (the custom Slimefun item) equivalent to the amount of iron it took to make the iron piece (Or not, Admin and devs will decide). After a LONG time, the piece should come ready with the custom enchantment.
The intent of this is to both:
- Give an intermediate tier between Iron and Diamond.
- Pair this with the Galvanization Idea, a way to add Unbreaking to only Iron Tools upwards to level VII+ by consuming Zinc. This way, Iron would become a sort of "Poor's man Netherite Gear", where you can enjoy its durability, but not its speed, damage, defense or the ability of obtaining more hardened blocks, like Obsidian or Ancient Debree.
Any opinions or other implementation ideas are welcome!
