Last suggestion I pointed out a new town type “Airbase” and here are the features:
- 1000 block range
- takes up dp to maintain an Airbase
- cost bit extra upkeep
- a limit on how many a nation can have relative to the amount of town they have
Flaws of the system: cant be contested, no counter
Fix:
- Make a new craft called air field that can only be piloted in air base towns
- during sieges all air base towns within 1000 blocks have explosions on

Maybe only have explosions on if the airbase is in use

I think you could do it but only if the airbase can be destroyed while the craft is piloted, destroyed by movecraft only

also said airbase craft should be destroyable and on the surface. after it is destroyed no grounded planes can take off anymore and a timer begins for planes already in the air. when the timer reaches 0 all allied planes are unable to move
