Movecraft gunners would be a way to let players use the features of a craft that is not being piloted by them, like firing guns and rotating turrets. This system would allow things like:
- Zeppelin crews defending the aircraft with its AA guns while the pilot focus on flying;
- Double seat bombers with a gunner manning bombs and the pilot controlling missile launchers (or vice versa);
- In tanks, let a player fire at enemies with the machine gun while the driver operate the main gun;
- In naval vessels, give the control of "secondary" armament such as torpedoes and AAs to crew members.
To add someone as a gunner, make sure that the player is inside the craft and then type the following command:
/craftgunner add [player name] [cannon id] [turret]
[gun id] -> Must be filled with the ID of the cannon, to add multiple cannons for a player, it could be separated with
commas (,). Example: /craftgunner add Zaify AntiAirGun,BombBay true
[turret] -> Does you player should have the permission to use subcrafts (rotate turrets)? If yes, fill this camp with "true", otherwise, "false".
/craftgunner remove [player name] -> removes a gunner from its craft (only available to the pilot).
/craftgunner release -> to leave your craft if you're a gunner (just like /release)
- If a gunner stays out of the craft for too long, he will be released, just like the pilot;
- If a gunner dies, he is released from the craft unless he has a crew sign;
- Gunners could have the ability to /manoverboard back to the craft (open to feedback since i think people may abuse this feature);
- When the pilot releases the craft, all gunners are released (obvious).
