Why haul these vehicles around on trucks?

Well, for starters, planes cannot move without a carrier or zeppelin nearby. That can be problematic if you want to move it around to a different town, or perhaps have a more mobile air force that doesn't stay in one place forever until duty. As for tanks, you can get them around places faster than if you just piloted them. It could also be useful for any sort of RP military parades or shows of force.

How would this work? Perhaps there could be something like turrets, with a block not on the tank/plane but on the truck, and just connect those blocks to the truck via concrete, and then put the vehicle on those blocks and drive off with your military vehicle. Another thing for planes could be having landing gear, such as upside down grindstones to connect to the truck but not fully connected to the truck as to be counted as a block.

In conclusion, trucks with tanks or planes on them could be quite useful for transport.
