After opening my town for new players to join and having conversations with each new play a recurring problem rises: new players have no idea what are the town prospects they are being invited to, what the town already has built or what are the future of their towns.
As new players can only really go on the looks of the town on the map and the word of the player that invited them. So this suggestion aims to give new players more agency in choosing their starting town.
The 2 paths this suggestion can take are as follows:
1. In the starting world where players first join, give them the ability to tpa not only to a continent of their choosing, but to town homechunks too. And keep their ability to teleport to other town's homechunks up to 2 hours from when they join/untill they choose a town
2. Same as 1 but limit it to only nation capitals
Each suggestion will have a major effect on ccnet, the first will push towns who are interested in recruiting to have more new player friendly setup. With more focus on mcmmo farms, public farms and free available plots while the second iteration of the suggestion will have nations as a whole more centralised as to enable new players to access as much towns as possible from the capital
