Dear admins and fellow players,
Before the changes to entity limits, I used to have several mob farms which I designed to produce materials incredibly quickly. It was disheartening to say the very least when the admins made changes to the entity limits and killed all mobs in my specially designed farms. While I can completely understand the desire for better server performance, I do not believe the drastic changes to entity limits were the right solution. I am sure many other players, especially farmers, can testify that the damage done to our beloved farms was not worth the minor improvement in server performance (I personally do not notice it whatsoever).
I am aware, though it grieves my heart, that the admins are likely too stubborn to reconsider their decision. With this in mind, I would like to request an increase to the rate at which mobs produce materials. For example chickens would be able to lay eggs more often, and sheep would regrow their wool faster. This way, both the desires of the admins and players are catered to.
On a side note, I would also like an apology for the damage done to my sheep and chicken farms. The admins mercilessly killed hundreds of sheep and chickens in my town while I was offline. A warning of their intentions would have at least given me time to capture the mobs and set them aside to be used in a way which complied with the new requirements. I found this incredibly rude, especially considering the time I spent making these farms, and the fact that I did not break any rules.
Regards,
