Combining gestern morgan new suggestion and my old one I found a way to make wool farming viable and balanced:
Suggestion:
Produce collector can now collect wool, at a fixed buffed rate of 5 wool per sheep.
Math:
Theoretical limit of sheep wool regrowth in 1 hr is every 2 mins so 33 collection(from now CL), while average is every 3.5 mins so 18 CL. Add into consideration average grass spread rate of 1 min to get respectfully 30 and 16 CL.
Average wool from 1 sheep per manual(sheers) CL is 2 and limit is 3, so from 1 sheep in 1 hour average is 32 and limit is 90. With max amount of sheep of 52 you get on average in 1 hour is 26 stacks and limit of a dub and 19 stacks.
With suggestion you buff this to a constant of average per sheep of 80 and limit of 150 , or for 52 sheep an average of a dub and 11 stacks and limit of 6.7 dubs(chill it's not possible, it's the Theoretical limit).
Disclaimer:
This would make wool farming on a max scale worthwhile and would stop the constant rise of wool. And the terrible lack of supply. Also this can be adjusted by mods in the future based on how well/bad it is to fit the server needs and is limited to not be fully afkable in the sense you need to empty the produce collectors when all 9 slots are full.
