so far i have not really seen any use for the outposts (excluding the end portal) as we already have the bank system, which i think should remain.
So simple idea i think it would neat if the gold that you can exchange with the npc's at the outpost should be exchange for higher than $9, this would make nations more inclined to siege a outpost. This would be pretty cool if you ask me. I hope this gets implemented ^_^
