After the afk changes biofuel production really took a hit, the 32 dubs of sc(sugar cane) needed to make 1 dub of biofuel (which my max legal farm could afk in a day), now takes me around a week of active playtime to make. And if I wanted to buy the sc at the current 500$ A dub it would cost me 16000(1k more than the value of a dub of biofuel...). So in short it has become very difficult to sell biofuel,even though corn production is still the same.

By changing sc into bamboo we can get the following benefits:
1. Bamboo can be grown up to 16 blocks unlike sc that is limited to 3 meaning less needed harvesting
2. Bamboo grows at a faster rate than sc(bamboo every 1-3 ticks and sc around 15)
3. Bamboo fields could be harvested with other methods besides pistons
4. Bamboo doesn't need water around it to grow meaning more Bamboo per chunk
5. This would lessen the load on sc consumption and make is possible to direct it towards duct tape and sf food

*sc and Bamboo has the same regional plant growth biome and rate

Once Zaify finishes updating to 1.21 I plan to make changes to farming that will alleviate this.

If the change is projected to be more than a month a way I ask again for this to be taken into consideration, because a month without biofuel sales is kinda rough

I don't think changing to bamboo is a balanced change, bamboo is extremely plentiful and can be collected in large quantities with little effort, which makes biofuel trivial to produce. Prior suggestions to make biofuel less of a grind were rejected for that reason, it's supposed to be expensive. You inherently take a risk when you travel to harvest oil for fuel outside claims. Biofuel can be entirely made in claims risk free. If it wasn't acceptable to reduce the material cost of biofuel, why would it make sense to change it to a recipe that makes it even easier to farm?

Because biofuel is limited by the corn? It was never limited by the sc.

The corn has a stable unchangeable output. You could have 1000 dubs of sc and it won't make any difference at how fast you can make biofuel. Rivendell farm which is undisputed best corn farm in server (and legal) could make at best 2 dubs worth of biofuel in corn a day (64 dubs) with 3 people grinding that day in shifts, this is again the best and most anyone can achieve. Compared to how easy you can make giant oil rigs and how little effort in work or planing oil grinding requires, biofuel production at its max limit(which is what I currently have) should at least make some biofuel for trade.

Tl dr saying biofuel should be less than fuel for stated reason by rocket is correct, that is what we had before afk change, but now attempting to sell biofuel even with the best of the best of setups isn't possible and biofuel can now at best be used for local town use
