SOI has been out 50 days. Due to it, no opposing nations in Asia have sieged regions. This is due to it giving the opportunity for Rome to gain range in Asia, helping alliance nations at sieges. Pacific, Atlantic haven't been being sieged. Along with Med contested once by Quintessence, holding med for 7 days of 50.
Long story short, since SOI, Siberium Federation has made 230,409 off Pacific and Indian uncontested and 148,608 off Med region alone for a total of about 380000$.
This also means they have held the theatre for 43 days. Equivalent to 20 stacks of Diamond Blocks (32000$), 1,161 stacks of sugar (6500$) and 344 stacks of buckets of oil (118225$ once refined to fuel).
Totaling, 536 725$ to fight Med once.
What I am trying to say and point out, is that SOI is not working as intended. It is supposed to localize fighting but instead large nations (in this following example Rome but includes Siberium as well) would get a way around it and have range to fight in Shimazu and Vanghun as allies, roughly 13-14000 blocks away. This is the other side of the entire map. Rome has SOI range from Antarctica to the North Pole, to the America's, to Australia and would reach to the eastern world border if they had Pacific region.
Another side effect of this is, every small nation gets occupied, just for SOI range.
In my opinion SOI is effectively is killing off regions and new nations, whilst large nations get richer than ever, for free.
My solution to this, is you can participate in sieges that are more than 10000 blocks away. This includes as allies or attackers or defenders. AND you cannot change a nation capital for 3 months.
