On N2, ganks surround every fort and the objective is to draw your enemies into them so they can be trapped and killed. This is an import from Hardcore Factions servers and I think it is ill suited for Nations. It encourages frustrating fights where each side pops out for a few seconds, tags enemies and jumps into their gank as soon as they get low. This is a huge advantage for defenders because their ganks are right next to the siege banner. It becomes more infuriating when the gank is in a peaceful town so you can't even get a tank to blast a hole in it. At least HCF ganks are always vulnerable. Even the tank escape strategy can be countered by making the gank deeper. All this is bad because it discourages the fun long, large team fights that were common on N1 and leads to one dimensional PvP at sieges. Please consider stopping fence and trapdoor usage if you are in combat.
