So I noticed that Zaify now implemented a rule that makes it so even towns within the same nation cant claim right next to each other. From what I understand it is to prevent the exploitation of peaceful towns during sieges. Now I understand the intentions behind it, but this rule hinders peaceful towns developments, especially in crowded places like in Europe or Japan. People cant claim spaces for their town, it leaves a gap between towns that results in the general scenery being ruined by other people, and the potential of being killed by other people while crossing between towns. For that I suggest a potential solution/workaround the issue, you could call it some new rules if you will :
1. Unpeaceful towns can not claim right next to a peaceful town, they have to be a certain distance in chunks away from peaceful towns (similar to what Zaify is doing now )
2. Peaceful towns can claim right next to other peaceful towns
3. If a peaceful town wants to turn unpeaceful, there will be a new enforcing rule (towny prompt) telling them that their town is too near another peaceful town's townblocks, and must therefore unclaim those chunks to get a certain distance away from the peaceful town
4. If an unpeaceful town tries to claim near a peaceful town, they wont be able to unless they turn peaceful, and then if they want to turn unpeaceful, read number 3.
5. Two unpeaceful towns near each other can claim right next to each other? or not, depending on how you think this would affect sieges. My concern is mostly with peaceful towns.
Sorry if I did not explain it proper, and thanks for reading.
