First of all this raises an essential questions of sieges. Next of all what equipment are you supposed to wear in a desert? Nothing?

Forcing everyone to wear leather armor sounds ridiculous especially in the thoeretical scenario of fighting a fort in lets say Denmark. You die to guns and diamond swords/axes in no time. Also bows too!
