System as is: Pvpers increase the chances of winning. Non pvpers will actively reduce chances of winning.
System I honest to god dream about: Pvpers increase the chances of winning. Non pvpers increase chances of winning, but by a miniscule (maybe even not notcieable) amount, and do not actively reduce win chances.
E.g: Southamerican union is not a pvp nation. We have one or 2 pvpers. You telling me if we got sieged that war would be 5% of our population and a load of mercs? All because the other players literally being there is a disadvantage.
Ngl i just want a system where, if the nation was attacked I wouldn't have to tell everyone they can't participate as them just being there would reduce the chances of winning. My argument is if a side can get a massive advantage just cuz 5+ bad pvpers join the enemy team that's busted as hell. I don't care about winning, I just wanna be able to play without the knowledge me just being there is a disadvantage...
Like I really feel that a lot of folk think we wanna change the meta to win... we don't. I wa f a system where pvpers will have a cool advantage. I just also want a system where non pvpers are not instantly causing a disadvantage. Right now wars can only be fought by non quick drops due to kill points making not great pvpers mechanically be a disadvantsge.
How most mmo / big player games do it:
You are bad? You still contribute , but nowhere near as much as pvpers
How ccnet does it:
You are bad? You will actively reducing the chances of winning (kill points / quick drops)
