The legend of Hua and Xiao and their everlasting love.
Chapter 1: Xiao and Hua's love and the creation of China.
In the void of ancient China, there existed a legend whispered among the mountains and rivers, of two spirits whose love shaped China and the land around it.
Long ago, in a world where the border between the mortal and the divine were open and Asia was just an empty void and the border of the mortal and spirit realm. There wandered a celestial spirit named Xiao, whose grace and beauty were indescribable even among the heavens. Xiao was the spirit of the winds, dancing through the skies with the elegance of a thousand butterflies.
One fateful day, amidst the clouds, Xiao’s gaze met that of another spirit, named Hua. Hua was the spirit of the earth, grounded and steady, yet with a heart so lovely it surpassed even the creators of this world. As they exchanged glances, Hua noticed Xiao’s indescribable beauty, and in that moment, love was born.
Their love knew no bounds, in the realm of the spirits, time was but an illusion. They roamed the realms together, painting the skies with the smiles of their love, and filling the air with the melodies of their laughter.
But as fate wanted it, darkness rose to the horizon. A jealous lonely spirit named Zhong lured over them, jealous of the purity of their love, cast a curse upon Hua, changing him into a tree in the mortal realm, destined to age and wither away over
time.
Heartbroken, Xiao begged Zhong for mercy, but her pleas got shattered by Zhong’s jealous mind. Determined to change fate itself, Xiao made a vow: to shape a land of beauty that would exist for eternity, a testament to the eternal bond her and Hua shared.
And so, with tears streaming down her cheeks, Xiao descended upon the mortal realm, where she shaped the land itself into a work of art, closing off the spirit realm. With delicate hands, Xiao shaped beings of unparalleled beauty, each one carrying the essence of their eternal love.
And then, the continent of Asia was born. But, Xiao who couldn’t leave Hua, cursed herself to become a mortal. She created the land of China, surrounded by her creations. With her everlasting love she stayed by Hua, who was now a tree. In her mortal years she stayed by Hua’s side. Her creations brought her food and water and they took care of their creator.
Xiao, once a celestial spirit of indescribable grace and beauty, became old. With a smile upon her lips, Xiao closed her eyes one final time, dying by Hua’s side.
Suddenly, her body shined with a celestial light that lit up all 3 realms. When the light died out, a flower, just as beautiful as Xiao herself, grew next to the tree of Hua. Their love was pure and lived on for eternity.
Even tho, Hua's mortal tree was destined to have faded into dust, but by being at each other's side they were immortal. Their spirit lived on in every leaf of Hua’s tree and in every petal of Xiao’s flower. And so, whenever lovers' love is so strong and pure, they are reminded of the legend of Xiao and Hua, two spirits whose love lasted for eternity.
Legends say that Hua’s tree and Xiao’s flower still exist in this realm.
