Aight, i will explain something. In current vassalization plugin, u can vassalize enemies, after doing that, u can rename their nation which is very cool, u can also tax them, etc etc. BUT u can not start suppression siege against them, they can see ally chat, and they have perms in EVERY TOWN that has ally perms on in WHOLE alliance…
vassalizing enemy is big mistake right now, and i want it to change… dont remove current vassalization plugin, just add another one: (idk exact command) make it so u can do /n vassalize enemy. So there will be 2 type of vassalization. What is difference between normal vassalization and enemy is that enemy vassalization wont have access to see ally chat of their ,master’ nation, they wont have ally perms on of their ,master’ nations alliance, but they can be taxed, and their nation name can be renamed, and the most important, they can be suppressed by their ,,master” nation..
Also u should be able to hit your enemy vassalized nation members, let me know what u think and also let me know what i missed, cause its morning and i could have missed some details abt this <3

Why should there be downsides? Especially that big of a downside that it makes vassalizing nations a disadvantage to the attackers. Winning as an attacker is significantly more difficult than winning as a defender, so there should be major benefits. The only thing that vassalizing does is change the nation name and some tax, but the tax can be easily evaded anyway. Honestly it’s not even bad to lose a siege if u are just gonna be vassalized. U will have access to their ally chat and have ally perms in towns, which is usually turned on in siege towns. This makes spying or insiding super easy, so why should the defenders get rewards for losing..?

vassalizing enemies should be a good thing, but it is completely opposite. its not just tax or nation rename, u cant supress them either

If you dont want the downsides of vassalisation then dont vassalise. Simple as that

You can just occupy the nation for a week without revolting and prevent them or atleast make it harder for them to help their allies(ur enemies) and revolt with vassal its like 15 days which is half a month, there is downside for occupied and overlord perfectly balanced and totally avoidable aswell, dont see any reasons behind a suggestion like this other than a biased idea trying to bend the game to their liking.

It's not that bad in general to lose a siege that's been an issue forever and I dont rly see why it has to be harder
