I agree with darius here glowing effect kills the fps of players and makes it hard to pvp

I totally agree , I own a low-end pc and this change would make pvp much better for me and other players

yes is hard for me to fight when there is 20 diffrent people who were the same colour wich makes my Laptop to be able to beak eggs on its own

if you mean suppressed players then that's a gameplay mechanic integral to it's functioning

i have never heard of glowing on guns

Pvping with glowing effect is very harmfull for the fps so i think an idea would be to keep the glowing effect only for the one that is firing the machine gun or just remove it alltogether

Sieges are laggy, anything would help to increase performance

IM FIGHTING SIEGES AT 50 FPS PLEASE

you literally need a nasa computer to play sieges without fps dropping down to 20 even w all the performance mods in the world, also the sound of fighters and ifvs are too high I am at master volume 30% in sieges and I cant even hear the vc or barely hear crit sounds

because of the all the noise pollution

The glowing effect indicates who has the Suppression and Shell Shock effects. This is important for gun PvP, so I don't want to remove it unless there is no alternative.

So I must ask whether you are all using the latest version of the resource pack, released on January 25. It includes an optimisation to Minecraft's rendering of the glow outline which should drastically reduce its FPS impact. If that's not working, I need to know.

I am using the latest version of the resource pack and still,my fps drops to 30-25.Another idea to fix this i think is to make command or an option to turn off/on the glowing effect for each player.
